How to tell it apart from look-alikes
Sometimes confused with Heartleaf Philodendron (Philodendron hederaceum) which is the same species in its all-green form. Brasil is the variegated cultivar; the parent species is the standard heartleaf you see in offices everywhere.
Pet safety: Philodendron Brasil is toxic to cats and dogs per the ASPCA.
