These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of indoorplantcare.com ("the Site"), operated by Thomas Joseph ("we," "us," or "operator"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Informational purpose only

All content on the Site — including plant care guides, troubleshooting articles, product recommendations, calculators, comparisons, and any other materials — is provided for general informational and editorial purposes only. The Site is not:

• A substitute for professional veterinary, medical, horticultural, or licensed pest control advice
• A diagnostic tool for plant disease, animal poisoning, or any other condition
• A guarantee of plant survival, pet safety, or any other outcome

2. No professional relationship

Use of the Site does not create a veterinary-client, doctor-patient, horticulturist-client, or any other professional relationship. The operator is an independent writer, not a licensed veterinarian, horticulturist, botanist, agronomist, or pest control specialist.

3. Pet safety disclaimer

Information about plant toxicity to pets is compiled from publicly available sources, including the ASPCA's Toxic and Non-Toxic Plants database and university extension service publications. This information may be incomplete, outdated, or inapplicable to your specific animal, breed, age, health condition, or quantity ingested.

If your pet has ingested any plant or shows symptoms of poisoning, contact a veterinarian immediately. The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center is available 24/7 at (888) 426-4435. A consultation fee may apply. Do not delay professional veterinary care based on information found on the Site.

4. Pest control and pesticide disclaimer

Pest identification, treatment protocols, and product references provided on the Site are for general educational purposes. Pesticide and biocide products — including insecticidal soaps, horticultural oils, neem oil, and biological controls — must be used in strict accordance with their product labels and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

The product label is the legal document governing pesticide use. You are solely responsible for reading and following all label instructions, safety precautions, and restrictions. We make no representations about the effectiveness, safety, or legality of any pest control method for your specific circumstances. For severe or unusual infestations, consult a licensed pest control professional or your local agricultural extension service.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, the operator's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

15. Severability

16. Entire agreement
