Got a thriving plant, a dramatic before/after, or a quirky propagation win? Send the photo and the story. Plant of the Week, a homepage feature for reader plants, hasn’t launched yet. Each plant picked for it will get a writeup, credit, and a link wherever you want to send people.
No filters, no influencer requirement, no follower count. Real plants grown by real readers — that’s the whole point.
What makes a good submission
- One to three photos — whole plant plus any close-ups that tell the story (new leaf, propagation, recovery from root rot).
- A short story — 50 to 200 words. How long you’ve had it, what you did right, what went sideways, what you’d do differently.
- The species, if you know it. If you don’t, that’s fine — I’ll cross-check.
- How you want to be credited — first name, full name, IG handle, or anonymous.
