Striking arrow-shaped leaves with deep, dramatic lobed margins giving a serrated appearance, on a dark green leaf with prominent yellow-green veining. Petioles are often deep purple-black.

How to tell it apart from look-alikes

A relatively new cultivar; sometimes confused with Alocasia Tandurusa (similar serrated leaves but more upright growth) and Alocasia Stingray (different leaf shape that resembles a stingray with a tail).
