Flowering · Pothos
Does a Pothos Flower?
No. pothos almost never flower indoors. They can flower in the wild as mature climbing plants, but this stage is essentially impossible to trigger in a typical home.
What the bloom looks like
In the wild, mature pothos (climbing 20+ feet up a tree) produce typical aroid blooms: a finger-like spadix surrounded by a pale green spathe. Total bloom is 4–8 inches.
How likely is it indoors?
Essentially zero. Pothos blooming indoors is so rare it's newsworthy when it happens — a botanical garden specimen blooming makes headlines.
