Can a Fiddle Leaf Fig Grow in Water?
No. fiddle leaf figs cannot live in water long-term. Even cuttings rooted in water often fail to transition successfully to soil because the roots formed in water are different from soil roots.

2–3 months as a cutting, with a high failure rate.
What can go wrong
Stem rot, failure to transition to soil, leaf drop.
